Schwarzenegger Stalker Terminated!
Frank Torres, the Schwarzenegger stalker has been ordered to keep away from Arnold for the next
10 years.
Frank allegedly sent an e-mail to a radio station describing how he targeted the Governor at various media appearances and claiming he could "pick him off."
Torres was arrested on November 17th after an investigation into the source of the e-mail.
Torres pleaded no contest to an attempted criminal threat charge and was sentenced to one year in county jail and three year's formal felony probation, as well as being ordered to keep his distance
from Schwarzenegger for the next 10 years.
This was not Arnold's first experience with a stalker, however.
In September 2003, Canadian cat burglar Richard Sathianathan was busted for trespassing on Schwarzenegger's Brentwood estate on numerous occasions and tampering with a car.
Sathinathan pleaded guilty to the charges against him and was sentenced to three years of probation as well as mandatory psychiatric counselling. He also received credit for 50 days served in county jail and was told to stay away from Arnold, Maria and the kids.
Torres' e-mail was not the first warning that the Governnator is a target while out and about on
various official business. At one point during Arnold's election campaign last autumn, an unidentified
member of the crowd pelted him with an egg, coating his shoulder with yolk.
The Terminator shrugged off the incident, showing his sense of humor.
"That guy owes me bacon!" he joked.
