True Lies 2 Whispers & Awesome Arnold Impression!
Our mates over at TheArnoldFans.com have been tapping their resources lately, and have come up with some interesting gossip about the rumoured-to be-upcoming TRUE LIES 2.
A.B.King writes:
My Lightstorm Entertainment spy says that James Cameron is not working on a sequel to TRUE LIES at the moment but if he decides not to continue the on-going adventures of Harry Tasker, Arnold can go solo like he did with TERMINATOR 3 and do the big budget sequel with another director. LIGHTSTORM ENTERTAINMENT would either still produce part 2 or give Schwarzenegger production reigns with his company OAK PRODUCTIONS (which produced Last Action Hero and Red Heat).
That isn't such a bad thing. While Jim Cameron is the best at crazy non-stop action scenes, True Lies can become a "different director" style franchise much like Mission:Impossible. There are plenty of great directors that would love to bring a super spy character to the screen.
Names that come to mind are John McTiernan, Paul Verhoeven, Ridley Scott, Renny Harlin, Richard Donner or Michael Bay. These directors would do Cameron justice and continue the charcter arc of Harry Tasker and Gibb (played by Tom Arnold).

Also, check this out! Have any of you ever heard of Frank Caliendo? No? Well neither had I, until this evening. Claiendo is a stand up comdeian from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who made his network series debut on the sketch comedy series "Hype."
His resum'e includes cable shows "Premium Blend," "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "The View," and "Late Night with Conan OBrien."
His signature 'John Madden' impression is frequently seen on The Fox NFL Pre-Game Show, "The Best Damn Sports Show" and "Mohr Sports."
If you check the following video out, you'll see him do a string of impressions, including Adam Sandler, George Bush, Scooby Doo & Shaggy, and ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER. Now, I haven't heard many good Arnold impressions before, mostly just really poor ones. But this guy is ace! He's almost got it down to perfection. Raw talent baby, raw talent!
The Arnold impression is about 18 minutes or so into it, but it's worth the way, as this guy is very funny! Click HERE to watch the video.
