Jacko Wins Arnold Classic!
Dexter Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida, won the Arnold Classic for the second time in a row, at the 2006 Arnold Classic Fitness weekend!
Jackson was among 15 bodybuilders in the competition at Veterans Memorial auditorium. The Classic is the centerpiece of the weekend's Arnold Sports Festival.
With his win, Jackson earned $100,000, a Ford Expedition, a trophy, a watch and congratulations from the competition's namesake, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Branch Warren of Dallas won second place and the Most Muscular Man Award.
Victor Martinez of the Dominican Republic won third place. Gustavo Badell of Puerto Rico was fourth. Melvin Anthony of Riverside, Calif., won fifth and the Best Posing Award. Lee Priest of Australia, was sixth.
Lee Haney, an eight-time Mr. Olympia, won the Arnold Schwarzenegger Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to him by Schwarzenegger, accompanied by a hug,
on sunday morning.
