New Terminator Trilogy Box-Set!

Heads up Region 2 Arnold fans! There's a new Terminator Trilogy box set on it's way out! BUT, don't go running off to place your pre-rders just yet... wait until see what we have to say first!

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment present THE TERMINATOR TRILOGY, a limited edition 4 disc box set of The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

Wait there, 4 discs? For 3 movies? Surely there must be some sort of mistake? That would mean one disc per movie and then another disc with some awesome brand new, never before seen features, right? Wrong.

T1 will be split over 2 discs, with the movie on the first and the extras and bonus features on the second. It'll be the same as the Special Edition/Ultimate Edition available in shops now. T2 and T3 however, get raw deals. One disc versions with no extra features. So basically, movie only, bare bones discs.

What do we say? We say it's pants! Just another way of Sony making yet more money off the Terminator franchise. They released a 6 disc trilogy box set in 2003, so why bring out a less adequate version now, with only 4 discs? Money, money, money. They didn't even change the artwork from the previous version! Avoid!

If you don't have any of the movies in your collection, we advise you to purcahse the individual special/ultimate editions of all 3 movies - far better! Or if you don't want to do that, then purchase the 6 disc trilogy box set, if you can find it!

The DVD is slated for release on Monday 20th March (UK ONLY), with an SRP of £19.99.
