GlobalArnold.com brings in T3.5 Sponsors!
During the last few weeks, Terminator fans the world over have united and come together as one to make a huge stand. The goal, to get Terminator 3 producers to see the importance of fixing T3 and allowing the third film to be at the very least as good or better still, superior than the two previous films.
We all believe that T3 has the potential to be the best Terminator movie, and with the additional T3.5 scenes, this could certainly happen. Now with a mighty 3,500 signatures (averaging about 1,000 per week), the official T3.5 Petition is not only getting major support by fans, but also by the cast and crew of T3, and big companies who want in on it to be the sponsors!
GlobalArnold.com Webmaster & President, Adrian Pavel has been speaking to representatives from Pepsi, and it seems as though they are willing to help fund T3.5, should it be greenlit!!
Here's what Adrian had to say:
"Today, I finally had a meeting with the Pepsi representatives. They are very excited about this idea to bring back a movie, especially for the fans and they understand that it's a huge opportunity for Pepsi to be one of the sponsors of "T3.5: Rise of the Fans". They will accept if the Pepsi logo will be screened in the movie. So the answer from PEPSI is YES! Next I will be in discussion with Microsoft and HP."
Let's keep our fingers crossed that they too agree, so that when the producers are ready to take our demands for T3.5 seriously, we will have the firepower to go!
In other T3.5 news, TheArnoldFans.com spoke with some T3 stars. It's extremely encouraging to see them offering their support in this, and what's even more interesting is that they talk of many film sequences that were shot by Mostow, only to hit the cutting room floor. Mostow told us that the only scene cut was the "Sergeant Candy" scene, but it seems that there ARE more!
First, T3 co-star, Alana Curry, gives her opinion on T3.5:
"I would be happy to be part of the new special edition. Of course I would love to have additional scenes written for me, who wouldn't. I would also like to just have the rest of the scenes that we filmed put back into the movie. If for some reason they do re-release T3 with this new idea, that'd be great."
She then gives some very interesting details of deleted footage:
"...There was a lot more than just a lot of screaming, that we filmed that for some reason didn't make it in the movie. The audience wouldn't even know from the final cut that we were at a pool party. We were at a beautiful house in the hills with a gorgeous pool, and none of the footage made it in. I bet nobody could tell, but I was wearing a bathing suit under my clothes in the scene, to match the rest of the footage that we shot.
There were several other complete segments of our scene that were not shown at all. First off, like I said, we were at a pool party. The pool was right outside the living room where we were watching TV. There were a bunch of extras outside in bathing suits swimming and hanging out. And it was really cold (it was during the middle of the night) and I remember thinking I'm glad I'm here inside where it's warm. We filmed a little segment with this robotic dog. I didn't really understand it all when we were filming. My boyfriend in the film, Bill Anderson, is one of the TX's targets that she wants to kill. So it would make sense that he would have built high tech robotic type stuff. Anyway, we did a scene where I was playing with this robotic dog, and there was a technician operating it off camera. I think he was very worried that I was going to break it or something.
Then there was more that we filmed after the TX shoots Bill. What was supposed to happen was that after she shoots him, she heads upstairs to kill Elizabeth Anderson (Bill's Sister). While she does this I run to Bill's side and cry over his lifeless body. Then I hear her upstairs and I take off running out of the house. Apparently, they never ended up filming the scene upstairs with the sister."
Now, Mark Famiglietti, the male TX and Kate's fiancée, comments on T3.5:
"Of course, I'd love to be involved. The whole experience was awesome!"
Mark also gives details on some of his own deleted scenes. To read about them, and see the rest of the article
