Mostow wins a Taurus Award!

Terminator 3 director, Jonathan Mostow, was yesterday given an honorary award for ‘Action Movie Director of the Year' at the Taurus World Stunt Awards!

Presented by Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mostow was given the award for his outstanding work on last year's summer blockbuster hit, T3: Rise of the Machines, the third instalment of the epic Terminator franchise, which grossed over $400 Million worldwide at the box office.

Terminator 3 was also up for another 3 awards, but unfortunately did not win. These were: -

Best Stunt Co-ordination (Won by Bad Boys II)

Best Overall Stunt by a Woman (Won by The Matrix Reloaded)

Best Overall Stunt by a Man (Won by The Rundown)

The Awards took place at the Paramount Lot, Hollywood last night. Celebrities in attendance included Matrix star Keanu Reeves, former Vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jackass madman Johnny Knoxville, Terminator and True Lies co-star Bill Paxton and hosts Dennis Hopper and Carmen Electra. A pyrotechnic stunt at the end turned out a little crazier than planned, with a fireball being much larger than what was originally anticipated, surprising all of the guests, including big Arnold ! Thankfully nobody was injured.

Tech Com Forces is BACK!

Super Terminator media site, TechComForces.com is BACK! After almost a year of being dormant to the Terminator world, webmaster Alex has finally decided to return (again).

Alex, who brought us bags full of T3 media last year, such as trailers, tv spots, cast and crew interviews, and more, is setting up ‘Tech Com Forces Terminator 4' and will be fully online, with a complete website in 2005.

Here's what he had to say:

“Tech-Com Forces Terminator 4 is currently under construction and will return with a complete Terminator Site by August 29th 2005 to countdown Terminator 4. This is just a simple heads up to all the Terminator fans that TCF will be back for a Terminator 4 Countdown. On-line construction will begin in June of 2004 following the release of Troy and will be complete and ready to begin counting down on August 29th 2005 .”

A long time to wait, but we know that it will be worth it, judging by 2003's 'T3 Version' of TCF.com. And if you still can't wait that long…well there's something to tide you over. Alex has made his first media capture for the new version of TCF.com, and has placed it online now!

The ‘Terminator 3 HBO Trailer', captured last week on HBO, Terminator 3 will premiere on HBO on June 12th 2004 , the first tv broadcast of the movie!
