ARNOLD ELECTED GOVERNOR!!


Californians, it is time! Arnold Schwarzenegger has finally been elected as Governor of California, terminating Gray Davis after months of speculation and anticipation, in what was called the‘Total Recall’. Crom has been listening and has answered the prayers of Conan the Republican.


Californians have been voting for weeks now in this Gubernational election, but it hasn’t been an
easy job for the Oak. There have been a lot of anti-Arnie stories in the press trying to bring him
down and destroy his dreams of becoming the Governator. But he hasn’t let any of this beat him. With a mighty ‘Talk to the hand!’, Arnold has shown these low foreheads what he can do, and we all know that when Arnold goes for something, he does it in style. Travelling all over the state to places such as Sacramento and Bakersfield and giving his speeches to the crowds of thousands who turned out to see him, he did not disappoint. He made it clear from the beginning what he wanted to do – get Gray Davis out and run California in a way which could bring it back to its former self.

With his campaign theme, “We’re not going to take it anymore” by ‘Twisted Sister’, he got his message across loud and clear. Promising to repeal the recent increase in car tax, bring spending under control and send a message to the political class that it would no longer be business as usual, Californians saw something in Schwarzenegger that they could see in nobody else – trust, truth and determination. Arnold made it clear that he would do everything in his power to restore California and that’s exactly what the people wanted. So California, now you can sit back and relax, RELAX!


Since Arnold announced back in August that he would be ‘The Running Man’ for Governor, there were a lot of mixed reactions between his fans and the people of California. Most of us Arnold fans were right behind him every step of the way, knowing that if he were to be elected then it would mean no more movies from the Oak. It was tough to accept, but we are no whining girly men! When times get rough, we hit the Gym and pump iron until the blood is rushing through our veins to the muscles!  There were, however, the people who didn’t want him to run, mostly the non USA or CA fans. This was totally understandable, as I myself was a little disappointed when he first announced it. Although I wanted him to go and kick ass and bring CA back to what it used to be, there was a part of me that wanted him to stay in movies and do projects such as
 King Conan, Terminator 4 and I Am Legend. Obviously, for the overseas fans such as myself, it was a lot harder to take in and support. But Arnold Fans are the most loyal fans in the world and will follow the Oak wherever he goes, whatever he does.


So to those who are still feeling disappointment and resentment towards Arnold’s goals, then to hell with you. Arnold is a machine – he will feel no pity, no remorse and no  fear, and he absolutely will not stop, ever - until CA is the way he feels it should be. You are making a Big Mistake if you don’t support Arnold through this. He’s had so much since he moved to America that now he wants to give some of it back and help the people the way they helped him.


So what does this mean now? Well for starters, forget Terminator 4 with Arnold. This movie will go ahead without him. Arnold made it quite clear from the start of his campaign, that once elected he would have no time for movies, not even cameo roles. He has to stick around to ensure the survival of California! When focused on something, this man does not give in. It’s hard to accept, but as long as Arnold is happy, then we are too. Maybe when his mission is complete in CA in a few years, he’ll make another famous comeback and do King Conan. Who knows?


Right now, he has to do his job. Arnold is The Governator and his mission is to protect the people of California. No more fiddling, fumbling and failing in the CA Government. The Terminator is on board now, and ready to wipe out any obsolete designs with his Uzi 9mm. He’ll go to the schools and be a Kindergarten Cop, he’ll erase anyone who gets in his way. His name is Freeze – learn it well, for it is the future of CA.


Gray Davis, you are Terminated. It is time for this Austrian born immigrant, worldwide champion bodybuilder turned actor turned politician to rule the land of CA now. With Mako & the Wizard by his side, Valeria, um, I mean Maria, will not be disappointed with her King, uh, Governor.


We at Arnold.RO would like to wish ‘The Gov’ the best of luck with his new found love. We know that he can do this job better than anyone else could and support him 110%. We are behind him every step of the way. We are Arnold fans, and whether it’s Arnold the Bodybuilder, Arnold the Actor or Arnold the Governor, it doesn’t matter to us – it’s still Arnold. WE LOVE YOU ARNOLD!!!
