James Cameron talks TERMINATOR 5. Arnold presents: Total Recall Biography!

This year is like a Christmas present, first with our man’s comeback in showbiz with outstanding explosive action movies in a row (The Exepndables 2, The Last Stand, The Tomb and Unknown Soldier) then we’ll get the first oficial Arnold biography and now belive it or not, the father of T-800, Jim Cameron has some great ideas for TERMINATOR 5, advising Arnold about it!

“I was talking to him back in fall about a new Terminator film and quietly advising on that,” says Cameron. “I was trying to be as encouraging as possible. Frankly, at that time, I thought it needed to be more about him.”

“I told him he should not do it until it’s focused on his character,” he continues. “I think there are some great stories that can be told about that character that haven’t even been thought of yet.”

The new Terminator film was initially set to be directed by Fast Five director Justin Lin, who had previously spoken to Cameron about a number of potential plot ideas. However, Lin has since left the project to take on the next Fast And Furious film, leaving the director’s chair vacant.

At present, the film’s status remains somewhat up in the air, although if it is to go ahead, it sounds likely that the spotlight will fall on Schwarzenegger once again. And if there must be another Terminator film at all, that can only be a good thing.

90minutes Breakfast with Arnold Schwarzenegger !

Well, seems that Arnold is really back, doing interviews as never before, as well as 2 days ago, on March 3rd. Watch below the entire interview hosted by Columbus Metropolitan Club : Breakfast with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Here’s the transcript from the minutes 71 when Taf’s Gillinator asked the most important question about his future projects and his comeback in showbiz:
I had a terrific time after my work as governor to be asked as Stallone to be in Expendables 2, so I flew to Bulgaria and worked there for a few days and it was fantastic! They had Van Damme in the movie and Dolph Lundgren and Stallone and Chuck Norris– every action hero between the ages of 30 and 100. On the movie set they’re having the biggest shootouts, and we have a great time when you do that because they’re very funny guys and masters at what they’re doing.

From that movie I went on to do The Last Stand which was shot in New Mexico and we shot that from October to December. That was a terrific experience, and that movie’s going to come out a little less than a year from now. They’re working on editing now, and the visual effects.

The next movie I’m working on again with Sly is The Tomb which will be a prison movie. We are both caught in the most difficult prison to break out of, which is a huge ship out in the ocean, so you can’t escape. But of course, we figure it out! (audience laughs)

Then we’re going to do The Unknown Soldier which is going to be with the Bandito Brothers that did Act of Valor, the number one movie right now and is getting such notoriety because they shot if for 4 million dollars and it looks like 100 million dollar movie because they got military and shot real action stuff which makes the movie so big and very successful, great story and everything. Those directors are doing Unknown Soldier, we start shooting sometime in June. Hopefully by that time my shoulder will be OK so I can do the stunts, but I’m looking forward to all that.em>

Arnold in India for the first time. Huge video Interview here:

New Delhi: In an exclusive interview, Hollywood actor and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger speaks with NDTV’s Dr Prannoy Roy and discusses his time in India, his tenure as California’s governor and his Bollywood aspirations.

NDTV: A very warm welcome to this, really special show, with a legend in our lifetime, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Thank you very much for being here. If there is one person who has lived life to the full, it’s you. You had a tough start, then you went onto bodybuilding and then you became global champion, then you went to Hollywood. You should have come to Bollywood that would have been more fun. Then you achieved legendary status in Hollywood, then as a successful Governor in politics. So what’s next now?

Arnold Schwarzenegger: I think one of the things that I will do I will continue doing is promoting and campaigning for good government. Giving power back to the people rather than the politicians have all the ultimate power, people have the ultimate power. Also continuing campaigning and being under crusade for the environment. I think there is a lot of work that needs to be done and I always said now, after I am finished with the Governorship, I will go back to what I have always done, which is promote health and fitness and bodybuilding; and I also did movies and ran my businesses in real estate and other investments, I will go back to that. Almost like Cincinnatus when he was in charge, when he ruled Rome, after he was finished with his challenges he went back to farming. I think there is something attractive about that, going back to your original work and so I think that’s what I am going to do, continue doing that. It is a very fulfilling life and I am very excited. I am off those different things. If it’s show business, politics, fitness bodybuilding, weight training, all of those, I am really excited.

NDTV: No more politics. I am really shocked that you are not standing for the candidacy for the Republican Party. With these guys you could have won easily.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: Well, I would. Except the Constitution of the United States says if you are not born in America you can’t run for President, so I can’t. Otherwise I could have.
